जब LP आगे ओएचई मे खराबी देखता है तो वह डीजे को ट्रिप कर देगा और तुरंत ZPT को 0 मे रखकर या BPEMS/Emergency Stop को दबाकर पेंटोग्राफ को नीचे कर देगा| यदि आवश्यक हो, तो ट्रेन को ऐसी जगह से पहले खड़ी कर देनी चाहिए|

When LP noticed defect in OHE ahead He shall trip DJ & immediate lower the pantograph by putting ZPT on ‘0’ or press BPEMS/Emergency Stop. If necessary, the train should be brought to a stop short of such place.

विद्युत रेल इंजन चालकों की ड्युटियां:- 1. चार्ज लेने पर चालक लॉग बुक का अध्ययन करेगा आपरेटिंग मेनुअल में लिखे अनुसार रेल इंजन/ई एम यू का निरीक्षण करेगा। यदि वह कोई असामान्य बात पाता है तो वह आपरेटिंग मेनुअल में दी गई हिदायतों के अनुसार काम करेगा।

Duties of Electric Loco Pilots:- 1. On taking over, a Crew must study the log book and inspect the locomotive/EMU as laid down in the Operating Manual of the particular class of the loco. If he finds any abnormality, he shall work in accordance with in instructions laid down in the Operating Manual.

विद्युत रेल इंजन चालकों की ड्युटियां:- 2. ड्राइवर किसी अनाधिकृत व्यक्ति को रेल इंजन के कॉरिडोर या कैब में यात्रा करने की अनुमति नहीं देगा। इंजन कर्मीदल के अलावा कर्षण शाखा के केवल अधिकृत पर्यवेक्षकों या वरिष्ठ मं.वि.ई.(परि)/मं.वि.ई.(परि) द्वारा विशेष रूप से प्राधिकृत व्यक्तियों को ही विद्युत रेल इंजनो के कैब में यात्रा करने की अनुमति दी जाएगी। गाड़ी परिचालित करते समय चालक/सहायक चालक कैब में यात्रा करते व्यक्तियों से बातचीत नहीं करेगें।

Duties of Electric Loco Pilots:- 2.The LP shall not permit any unauthorized person to travel in any cab or corridor of the locomotive. Apart from the engine crew, only authorised supervisors of the Traction Branch and those specifically authorised in writing by Sr.DEE (OP)/DEE (OP) shall be allowed to travel in any of the cabs of the electric loco. When working the train, the LP/ALP shall not enter into discussions or conversation with persons travelling in the cab.
